Cobham River was built around conservation, our fishing program is proud to have released all trophy fish for over 35 years.
The result, 45 to 50+ inch Northern Pike being released every season. Roughly only 140 people get the chance to fish our Canadian waters each year. Are you one of them?

Privately tucked away in the remote Canadian wilderness, our rustic lodge getaway is just a 1 hour flight out of Winnipeg, Manitoba. More than a getaway, this is home away from home in Canada’s great outdoors, where remote living and outstanding service come together to create truly one-of-a-kind experiences beyond expectation.
Our Manitoba lodge is stunningly unique.Nature-inspired interiors in earth colors enrich the rooms at Cobham River Lodge. Cobham River Lodge is custom designed with handcrafted pine furniture and true Canadian comforts with luxurious down duvets, fine Hudson Bay blankets and pillows. In keeping with our getaway experience, there are no telephones or televisions in any of our guest rooms.
Complimentary WIFI is available throughout the property.
Amenities
- Upon your return to the lodge after a full day of Canada fishing, you will be greeted at the dock by our helpful staff who will assist you with your fishing gear. Guests use this time to relax on our Canadian handmade furniture made of native pine while watching their favorite baseball or NFL preseason game on our flat screen TV with 300+ channels. Some guests use this time to catch up back home with our free, high-speed internet and free phone calls. While you are enjoying your evening appetizers, your boat will be cleaned and refueled so it is ready if you choose to chase a trophy Canadian Northern Pike or Walleye after your evening meal.After dinner the guests gather around the large native rock fireplace, or venture onto the large screened in deck and talk about the big one that got away or (hopefully) the one they landed, play cards, or resume watching their favorite team on satellite TV. For that avid fisherman who still wants more Canadian fishing your boat is waiting, just be back before the Northern Lights!
Boats
Your Manitoba fly-in fishing experience begins as you make your way through the Canadian wilderness to the beach to find your 16′ wide-body Lund boat installed with swivel seats with backrests, landing nets, stringers and boat cushions. Your boat is also equipped with a 20HP Yamaha 4-stroke outboard tied to the dock awaiting your arrival. With your ice-downed beverage cooler already stowed and outboard warmed up you are ready to hunt down those trophy Northern Pike and Walleye.
