About This Lodge
Our Alaska fishing lodge was built with the serious angler in mind. The lodge is a fly out lodge that can only be accessed by plane. We are located within walking distance of the Tsiu River about 1 mile from the ocean near the mouth of the river.
We are perfectly situated for you to be able to fish for Silver Salmon as long as you want. You can even fish before breakfast or after dinner since the summer days in Alaska are very long. The fishing on the Tsiu River is nothing short of spectacular.
Your fishing trip to our fly out Alaska wilderness-fishing lodge will be a trip to remember for the rest of your life. Once you experience the world-class Silver Salmon fishing, you will want to come back every year and we would love to have you! The Tsiu River is a clear, pristine river that is home to a world-class run of Coho Salmon, commonly referred to as Silver Salmon.
The River is very safe and easy to wade since it is fairly shallow with a sandy bottom.

Accommodations
We chose to build the lodge in a very scenic area located on the Gulf Coast of Alaska 80 miles east of Cordova, and 106 miles west of Yakutat. The lodge and fishing cabins are situated in a picturesque setting between glacier covered peaks of the Robinson Mountains and the Gulf of Alaska on the edge of the Wrangell St. Elias Wilderness.
This is a true Alaskan wilderness fishing lodge.The lodge is powered by a diesel generator that runs 24 hours a day to provide electricity at all hours. A 16′ X 42′ building contains the crew showers, bathrooms, storage room, laundry room and generator room.At Tsiu River lodge we have eight 12′ X 20′ comfortable cabins for you to enjoy a good nights rest after a long day on the water. Each cabin has a full bathroom including sink, toilet, shower, towels, and running water for your convenience and comfort.
Oil stoves or electric heaters heat the cabins so you will remain nice and cozy.We normally sleep 2-3 people per cabin, although they do have four bunks so there is capacity for more. Our cabins give you privacy and comfort in the beautiful and scenic Alaska landscape. You’ll enjoy a restful night’s sleep in a bed with a quality, comfortable mattress, warm comforter, blanket, pillow and crisp cotton or cozy flannel sheets.For your added convenience, we have built on a protected porch to each cabin, for hanging up your raingear, waders and fishing rods.

- Sit back and relax after a great day of fighting Silver Salmon in the Alaska wilderness. The recreation room at our fishing lodge is set up for your comfort and convenience. A fly tying table with vices and materials is available for use. Many fish tales are told here, whether they are true or not is up to you to decide!The recreation room also includes a TV with DVD movies for you to enjoy when not telling fish stories, games and a library of books for you to enjoy. Considering that the days are so long here in Alaska and the fishing so good, you may not spend a lot of time here, but if you need a nice relaxing place the recreation room will provide you with just that.After a day of wading and wrestling with Silver Salmon and Steelhead on the Tsiu River, the last thing you want to do the next morning is climb into wet waders, clothing and gear.One of the numerous amenities we offer you is the use of our lodge drying room. Its use is available and encouraged for all of our guests. This room is kept at very warm temperatures and very dry so that your waders, boots, and any wet clothing will be warm, dry and ready to wear the next morning.The drying room is another one of those “little things” that can make your trip to our lodge that much more enjoyable.
