Kodiak Island Resort

Kodiak Island, Alaska

About This Lodge

We’re among an elite group of Alaska fishing lodges, priding ourselves on providing a level of service that is refreshingly old fashioned, with emphasis on quality. Our focus is our guests’ comfort and satisfaction! This focus is reflected in all our guest-oriented activities.

From the moment the float-plane sets down to the time you reluctantly leave for home, you’ll enjoy a luxury wilderness vacation adventure. The lodge, open from May to October, offers unique wilderness adventures that include saltwater fishing, fly-in fishing, kayaking, bear viewing, whale watching, beach-combing, wildlife photography, and much more! Fishing in Larsen Bay, Kodiak Island offers the highest population of trophy halibut of anywhere in Alaska.

Anglers experience superior Alaska halibut fishing at Kodiak Island Resort due to the remoteness of the area, coupled with the close proximity of the Pacific Ocean’s northerly currents. An abundance of marine life is brought to the Kodiak area via the strong currents, and all of this food provides a generous food supply for halibut, and all species of salmon, not to mention several varieties of whales.
