About This Lodge
Wilderness Place Lodge offers the best value in all-inclusive Alaska fishing lodge packages. The highest level of customer service and hospitality is what we do. Our river is the ideal “postcard” clear-water tributary offering the best fishing for all salmon species, rainbow trout and arctic grayling.
Our modern cabins provide the utmost comfort, the meals top-notch. Wilderness Place Lodge is a remote fly-in fishing lodge off the road system in south central Alaska. Our lodge is located on Lake Creek, a remote clear-water river system.
We fly by float plane approximately 70 miles Northwest from Anchorage towards Denali National Park. The 45 minute flight covers a vast array of wetlands, rivers, dense forests and lakes. The valley is an incredible spectacle of what remains of it’s glacial past.
Epic views of Mt. Denali (McKinley) to the north can be seen on clear days. Alaska salmon fishing is an incredible venue on our home river.
Our river receives strong runs of all salmon species summer-long.

What's Included
Accommodations
Our fishing lodge has eight separate deluxe cabins, all with full electricity, heat and all the comforts of home. Two log cabins are located on the banks of Lake Creek and five knotty-pine interior frame cabins are located just off the river’s edge. The cabins are heated with gas or electric climate-controlled heat, decorated with local photography, and are equipped to offer each guest very comfortable, deluxe Alaskan accommodations.
Daily housekeeping service is provided and we do have clothes washer/dryer facilities for the use of our guests. We have the most comfortable memory foam mattresses! Comfort is key after a full day of fishing on the river.
